Just read where president Obama wants to send ground troops to Iraq. Now you know he’s going to get blamed for escalation and all kinds of other stuff. So before I get going let me tell you History says stay the hell out of there. That part of the world has been in conflict since people started recording history. Now back to the point I’m sorry for all my relatives and friends who are going too pissed by what I say, but old George is responsible for a large part of this. Before we went there looking for weapons of mass destruction that didn’t exist, the area had a balance of power. Iran was afraid of Sadam and spent most of its money on defense of its border with Iraq. After Sadam was run out the ensuing confusion as to who was in charge left Iran free to stop worrying about its border and concentrate on becoming the power they always wanted to be. The same can be said about recent events where Obama’s support of rebels in Syria and Libya contributed to the further destabilization of the area. As bad as all those tyrants were they, in reality posed no serious threat to the US. But there removal aloud for ISIS to come to the front and give the situation we now have. If it was at all possible at this time I’d say screw it and let them kill each other. But you and I both know that they will eventually go after Israel and she will use her nuclear weapons to defend herself thus ushering in the end of the world as we know it. Doesn’t look promising does it? Now if old George had just gone after Sadam in the first place with all our men and weapons it wouldn’t have taken ten years to kill him and maybe just maybe the world would be a little safer now. A LITTLE SUNDAY STUFF

Here’s some STUFF for a Sunday post first up I see Democrats running around trying to figure out why the voters didn’t come out in the midterms. Well that’s really pretty easy people are tired of sitting around watching The Congress and The Senate sit around with great health benefits and pensions doing nothing but blaming the other guy for nothing getting done. Next little bit of STUFF for those of you who know who Don Imus you might be interested in knowing that he put is New Mexico ranch up for sale. You remember the one that he runs as a charity for young Cancer patients and that he has a radiothon for every year. The one he bragged about that was funded so that it could go on after he was gone, well he lied. And finally I have a question concerning the Navy Seal that claims he shot Ben Ladin. If he took the Oath the Navy talks about is it strictly a moral one or is there legality involved and if it a legal binding one how come he’s running around looking for a book deal while Edward Snowden is living someplace in Moscow. Seems a little bit of double standard doesn’t it. Oh by the way I don’t think he did I think he’s just looking for a big payday. STUFF FROM THE WEEK

Well here it is Friday and let’s take a look at the stuff from the week shall we. First at the bottom of the post you will see the train setup Jeff is just about done building. He says he’s going to change the foliage on the trees he made and then that’s it. There was a story the other day about the Navy Seal that supposedly shot Ben Ladin. Both Jeff and I are a little surprised that this news would be allowed to be printed. If it’s true and this is the guy I hope he has some of the best bodyguards because he just became the biggest target for terrorists ever. The Republicans won control of the congress so now it’s put up or shut up for them. You guys already know how I feel about politics so we won’t comment further. Just so the American West doesn’t feel alone Brazil is facing a huge drought right now. There were several misspellings in headlines on Yahoo this morning must have been party night last night. And finally NASA has explained a photograph from the Mars Rover that resembled an Elongated head similar to those on Easter Island. Of course they explained it as an anomaly but we know better. SAME OLD SAME OLD

Well I’m sure a lot of people expect me to complain about the elections and maybe I am those who really know mw and Jeff Know. Jeff was a member of the Democratic Party back when he was in his twenties. He had been elected to the Democratic county committee in East Orange which meant he went to meetings and political rallies. He did this for his mother who needed him to do this so she would keep her job. Now the one thing he learned from this experience was that a politician would stab his own mother in the back to get elected and keep his position. He watched as best friends in the same party turned on each other so they could get a better position. This 6 year experience stopped him from voting for the next twenty years. When he returned to voting he was considered independent. He wasn’t interested in the corruption of politicians when he voted if he voted for a person he tried to pick the most honest one without worrying about whether they agreed on everything or not, mostly he voted on referendums. You know those little things that are listed separately on the ballot like open spaces, water protection Etc. looking at the results of yesterdays elections he saw no winner’s only losers. It makes no difference to him who is reelected if there’s not going o be some sort of reform that makes these idiots more accountable to the people that elected them. In other words when the minority or the majority seek to make changes it should be done with the best interest of the people, not special interest groups. I can see some extremists wanting to repeal Obama care and I don’t have a problem with that if they’re going to replace it with something better. But so far I haven’t seen anything that would suggest that. I wonder if the new member s of Congress will be smart enough to do something positive about the Climate before it’s too late. There are a lot of issues on the table that haven’t been addressed because either the Democrats or the Republicans seem too interested in making change. They’re more concerned about who’s in charge then actually accomplishing some good. It our opinion that all politicians lie and have stopped caring about the little guy. So Jeff read this article about Arizona censuring birth control form its biology text books and ha came up with a question. If religious conservatives are out there protesting against birth control and then try and get Roe vs Wade overturned and stop abortions how do they plan on handling all the kids that aren’t really wanted. Do they expect people to just stop fucking so the population won’t get out of hand or some infant will be left in an alleyway? Religious extremists one suffering from a large dose of intolerance make me crazy. First of all the Bibles and all other religious books were interpreted by a man not a God. In most cases the teachings in these books are here say rather than the actual writings of God. Man doesn’t have the resources to just go around and screw his brains out and then have women pop kids out. And another thing it was a man who said God was a man and that man got here first. I think they are right about the man part after all man has been fucking up ever since the beginning of life. But now we have people saying the Bible or other religious publication says abortion is wrong and I may not be a religious scholar but I don’t think it says anything of the kind. It does say something along the lines of go forth and prosper or something. But a man has said this is what the book means therefore this is what god says. I don’t think so actually on moral grounds there are better arguments that God doesn’t exist then they’re one that do. Now those of you that read this Blog on a regular basis know Jeff doesn’t believe in Religion but won’t discount a superior being. AN AFTER THOUGHT TO YESTERDAY

Just a couple more things referring to yesterdays post have you seen the business news lately and how Facebook and Amazon are going around and buying every company they can? Well they are and now if you want to get rich it’s like the old dotcom days. Just start a company, have it do something along the lines of a social network or package distribution. And one of these two behemoths will come along and offer you an unreal sum of money to sell to them. It’s almost immoral the kind of money that they talk about for basically office space. Some of these companies have great ideas but really haven’t been able to get the proper financing to put them over the top. While others simply have an app or do something that one of the two companies feel they could make better use of or might actually be better than anything they could come up with. You know like a better steak knife or apple peeler. When one big company buys a smaller one they usually do what referred to as cherry pick it assets before throwing the rest away and that includes its employees. It boils down to this a couple of people get rich potential competition is destroyed and everybody else gets screwed. A LITTLE STUFF ABOUT GREED

I just read an article about Walmart and how they’re going to start selling used video games in November. That means they’re targeting game stop stores. Well this story got me to thinking about all the companies that want to rule the world sort of. There’s Bill Gates who has for years wanted to control access to the internet and all the information contained there. Then there’s Google same ambitions. Amazon wants to control the entire retail world including what we can read, eat, watch, and play. You see this unbridled ambition in a lot of companies some such as the ones above just try to buy their competition out others like big banks want to destroy theirs anyway they can. I wonder at what point is all this greed going to come back and bite them in the ass and what the effect on the rest of us will be? We know they don’t give a shit about us they don’t want us to be educated unless we think like they do. If you really want to see the dangers of this greed look at the food industry you have two major companies trying to control either the production or the consumption of our food. On the production end you have Monsanto and on the consumption end Nestle foods. Monsanto has managed to get itself include in free trade agreements such as the one the US has with Colombia. In said agreement was included a provision that the farmers in Colombia had to use Monsanto’s genetically altered seeds to grow food for export. Nestle on the other hand just buys the competition out. I know a lot of my friends march against some these companies and their policies but until we can hurt them on a very seriously economic front I don’t see thing changing just getting worse. JUST A LITTLE MORE STUFF

I get so many compliments and views when I write about STUFF that I’ve come to the conclusion that my readers either don’t know what STUFF is or they have too much and want o know how to get rid of some of it. Well first you have to what STUFF is and STUFF is everything, even those little thoughts in your head. This Blog is STUFF of course it my STUFF and I get rid of it by writing about it and when you read it then it becomes your STUFF. It’s really a vicious circle STUFF we never really get rid of it we just move it from place to place. When you clean out your closet you take the STUFF you don’t want to the dumpster. Now the stuff belongs to the guy who picks up the garbage. He takes it to the dump or they recycling plant now your STUFF belongs to more people. If it ends up in a junk yard sooner or later it will either be bought by someone else or crushed to make something new. If it goes to a recycling plant it gets made into a newer version of your old STUFF. So in conclusion if you want to get rid of STUFF don’t think don’t buy don’t do anything. But you know what if you do that you’ll just become STUFF we’ll have to try and get rid of. This is Flounder saying CIAO from Medellin, Colombia.

I called this post bits and pieces because I really didn’t want to call it what it really is and that’s stuff. This is just a little review of some events of the past week that we really know is just more stuff. First up Peyton Manning Denver quarter back broke the record for most Touchdown passes ever. This was originally held by Bret Farve of the Green bay Packers. Next we have Steve Nash of the LA Lakers will be out for the season due to a nerve injury in his back. At his age, 40, this should end a great career. It looks like one of the longest running programs on TV is reaching its end The Original CSI has it production schedule reduced this year and that’s usually a prelude to cancelation. I’ll miss it but it’s been long enough. Pat Robertson a Christian preacher known for sticking his foot in his mouth has done it again referring to Gay activists as terrorists. Some idiots just never learn. Fox TV News anchor woman Kimberly Guilfoyle declared that young female voters shouldn’t vote but should go back to Match.com and Tender and get married so they would have more life experience therefore be better voters. There is a confirmed case of E Bola in NY city this has to be a real nightmare for health workers since this person apparently road the subway and came into contact with hundreds of people. HUMAN TRAFFICKING

Sorry about no post yesterday I was doing a little research on today’s topic not just for this blog but also Jeff’s books. The topic is Human Trafficking. Now like most people I thought this was strictly about the sex trade and was surprised to see the list. Of course it contains the obvious Prostitution, and Child Porn. But also on this list were Forced Labor, Slavery, Organ Removal, and Illicit Adoptions. I should of thought about Organ Removal since transplants have become big business and you how really rich people want to live forever. Also people tend to think this all just about Children and it’s not. About the only ones who are safe are old people like Jeff. It’s really hard to find exact statistics about how many people are trafficked at any given time since a lot are out of the third world or simply forgotten people. Also in some countries if you go there by invitation to perform sex you are considered to have been trafficked. The people that do the kidnap’s or coercion to obtain a human for trafficking are not always perverts but rather just greedy criminals that see a demand that can’t be fulfilled legally, such as Organ Transplant. The perverts are the buyers and like anything else such as drugs, or any legitimate business, in order to put an end to it you must first remove the demand. And since this transcends most economic boundaries I really don’t see it stopping anytime soon. In the United States if you need help trying to finding someone you think might be involved in trafficking there is an organization you can contact.
