IS IT TIME FOR MY PHOTO SHOOT

Well I skipped a couple of days now I’ll have to scramble if I want to get back on schedule for 365 in 365 this time around. Anyhow hers some trivia I went and did some research to see if in fact there had been cats in the oval office and guess what there were a lot going all the way back to Lincoln. Rutherford b Hayes had three cats (Picculimani, Siam, and Miss Pussy), Teddy Roosevelt had two (Tom Quartz and Slippers), Woodrow Wilson one (Puffins), Calvin Coolidge one (Tiger), Gerald Ford had one (Shan), Jimmy Carter had one (Misty Malarky Ying Ying), Bill Clinton had one (Socks), George W Bush had one (India “Willie”). They say the reason no one knew about all these cats was because we prefer to work in the background rather than in the spotlight like dogs only socks seems to have liked the spotlight and that seems to be because he hated Clintons’ dog. They gave Socks up for adoption after they left the White House, sounds typical we always get left behind. Well I’m not getting left behind my friend Jeff wouldn’t let that happen to me. Jeff has given me his endorsement for President saying I could do any worse than the bunch of dorks we’ve had recently. In the months ahead I’ll be giving my commentary on the Congress, Senate, and President just so you can make a knowledgeable decision in 2016, but right now I’m going to take nap CIAO.

Hi guy flounder here and no I haven’t changed my mind about running for President. It’s Friday and the weekend is here don’t know what’s going on it doesn’t seem as if anybody besides Nacho and family have plans. Nachos daughter Jessica is getting married this weekend so Camilo is all excited hope he doesn’t get to drunk and do something stupid but I don’t think he will he really loves his sister and wouldn’t embarrass her. Me my plans are to start reading all the news from America to see what needs to be changed, besides the first dog thing, other than that I really don’t have any plans. Somebody will probably want to come use the pool and that’s cool, it’s outside, which means I get to sleep inside without interruptions by people trying to be nice to me. I heard from Val she going to support my candidacy for Pres. which is cool after all how much worse could i be than what you already have as choices. I don’t think anybody wants Chris Christy or another Bush they may want Hillary but we’ll just wait and see. I understand she’s a dog person so if she wants me to not run she had better change her attitude. Well I’m going to start prepping for the weekend which means nap time CIAO

You all remember I’m a cat right so pardon me if I rant a little about all these dogs in government. That’s right you heard me dogs in government look at all the world leaders that have a first dog I’m sick of it I believe it’s time for a cat in politics. After all were sneaky highly intelligent and don’t like to be told what to do. That makes for a perfect candidate for President, so now I want all this first dog crap to stop and let’s get a cat in the Oval Office. Look if someone doesn’t want to go a long with the program I’ll just wait till they walk by a bookcase jump down on them and scratch their eyes out, let’s see if that can break a dead lock or not. Don’t forget cats mark their territory and do a great job of protecting what’s there’s. That means we would have no problems on the national Security scene and as for the those pesky filibusters they wouldn’t bother me I’d just curl up some secretaries lap and take a nap till they were done. So let hear it now FLOUNDER FOR PRESDENT IN 2016. I will run and I will get a cat in the Oval Office CIAO

Jeff’s  got Leonard Skynard playing loud so I locked myself in the computer room till the neighbors complain and I can go back to sleep. I know everybody not happy about the election I’m not Obama has a dog we need a cat in the White House. I don’t think too much will change its Jeff’s opinion that there are still too many old crooks in the Senate and The Congress. Did you guys see Trumps tweet the man is practically advocating civil war because Obama won, the guy has definitely been sniffing too much hair spray and Jeff used to think the guy was cool? Well I’m going to hide in Jeff’s closet for awhile, maybe I’ll scratch up some of his jeans if he doesn’t turn down the music soon CIAO.

Well the sun is shining even though my Giants lost yesterday but the Cowboys lost so it wasn’t a total loss. Hader the kids and his friend came over to the pool and then we all went to Nachos for dinner was a pretty good day all things considered. Hey Jeff what do you think you’re doing writing on my Blog without me I mean just because you finished your boo you think you can sit and take over the Blog too. Well let me tell you if you don’t want your pants shredded I suggest you stop and let me take over. OK OK, don’t have a hairball, it was getting late and I thought I’d just give you a hand. Well I’m here now so you can go back to watching TV or whatever. Well today is a Holiday in Colombia I’m not sure why I do know they have another one next Monday too. They have a lot of Holidays down here some are religious and that’s to be understood sense it’s a very Catholic country. But I guess not everybody gets the day off Camilo is working and there are some guys cutting grass outside, they use weed whackers to cut grass down here and if you have ever had one of those running at 7:30 in the morning you know how I feel right now. I hope all of you people up there are safe and are making sure all the pets are safe especially the cats after all CATS RULE. Well I’m going to go and yell at Jeff some more because no 1 I can and no 2 because it’s fun CIAO.

Alright looks like Jeff’s book should be available on Amazons Kindle by the end of next week. He’s not going to put this one in print form until he sees how digital sales go. He’s working on price right now and he realizes this is not a great piece of work but rather a learning experience for him he has ideas for a follow up story as well as one about a vicious serial killer who travels the world killing those the law can’t touch as well as any innocents who happen to get in the way (really not a likeable fellow) anyhow the picture that’s wit this story is the outside cover of hi book feel free to comment on it. The story is about an android that solves a murder and along the way visits the center of the cosmos where everything begins and ends(maybe). Well it’s time to let Jeff unload some of the stuff that bothers him. Hey gang you’ve all seen the pictures of the view from down here and I think we all have to agree it’s spectacular, well we may be the only one who really appreciate it. I have spent the last couple of mornings having my second cup of coffee on the balcony and I have observed people across the way in the town walking yards to get to the hill leading down to the little creek so that they can throw their garbage down the hill. Now we have this little area where there are no trees or shrubs and we get to see old sofas and mattress as well as black and white garbage bags. This just doesn’t occur here when you ride the Metro to Medellin and look at the Medellin River you see garbage mounds along the banks as well as just about anything floating in it, homeless people make a living collecting recyclable stuff from the river. The areas where this happens aren’t slums or peasant huts the people have new cars the homes are neat, some even have little garden in front, the streets are clean so there’s no excuse other than the people living there have no class and don’t care. I’ve noticed in the pass that people tend to take things for granted especially those connected too nature. A good example of this is the storm in the eastern US everybody thought New York didn’t have to worry wrong. Down here you get a beautiful sunrise or sunset and the average person is so used to it they no longer appreciate it. The same goes for dumping they don’t see it as wrong or harmful, wait 50 years when you go for a ride to see the view and all you see are black and white garbage bags everywhere, and don’t think it can’t happen. If the peace talks go well this country is going to be looking at a lot of unemployed young people, a great idea would be to get them evolved in cleaning up and protecting the environment. If you take a look at Japan and Holland they have many constructive way s to use garbage that not only remove it but help lower income families live. Holland makes building materials from garbage Japan is far ahead of the US and Colombia in recycling and air quality control. If Colombia does nothing now then the wealthy manufactures will come here with their factories and with their money it will make it very difficult to make change, just take a look at America. There is plenty more I could say about this but I think most people are bored by now I do hope a few people will listen and maybe there will be hope for a cleaner future CIAO.

Well I couldn’t think of what to say with the storm and everything but now it’s Halloween and down here we call the day of children and that’s what we do celebrate children. I think it would be a good idea up there after the horrible storm if you all celebrated the children too. Even though the streets are still a mess a little trick or treating with the kids is good for the soul and you really shouldn’t let Mother Nature ruin a fun time for them. I guess what I’m saying is get your head up and go out with your kids it’ll do both of you some good. There’s not much more I can say right now except I hope your all safe and you’ll get through this the human spirit is an amazing thing I’ll be back tomorrow for now CIAO.

Well I’ve been reading weather reports and comments on Facebook about this storm and it looks like if it goes 20 miles one way or another there could be some real problems for some folks I really hope everybody takes this serious and stays safe. We’ve had our share of bad storms down here but nothing like they’re talking about up there. Everybody stay connected however you can weather it be by Facebook or some other chat or cell phone keep a flashlight handy just in case and no matter what happens don’t panic it won’t last forever. On the brighter side it does offer an excuse to stay in and watch the Dallas Giant game or if that’s not your thing play a game of Uno with the kids, but do something so that the kids don’t see your scared or worried. I’ll be here I don’t what I can do except pray I’ll be watching Facebook so if anybody wants to chat give me a holler I ‘m on Jeff’s page until he gets me my own good luck CIAO.
