Well lets talk about impeachment today. I read this morning that some people think because the Trumpster went to the doctor yesterday for an unscheduled checkup that he’s going to use a medical excuse to quit. I don’t believe it. The Trumpster may be a coward but he also an egotistical bastard and that my friends will keep him from resigning. He might if it looks like he may face criminal charges, like Nixon, make some sort of deal that gives him immunity to those charges. If, and it looks like they will, the Congress votes for impeachment it will go to the Senate. The Senate hold the trial to either acquit or convict. They then can decide to censure or remove him. Based on what’s being said now they will vote to dismiss all charges and the Democrats will look like asshole for wasting so much time and money trying to convict him. That in my opinion my friends will pretty much guarantee his reelection. He, if by some chance is convicted and removed can still run for election. It is my belief that the Dems should not of pursued impeachment at this time but concentrated their efforts on denying his reelection and the removal of all the Republicans that are coming up for reelection in 2020. The Trumpster’s supporters are the same people that went nuts when Obama was elected. They are the ones that consistently used racial slurs in their criticism of him. I usually make fun of all politicians but the way people talked about Obama and the insults that were thrown around I didn’t say anything. That doesn’t mean I think he was great history will judge that not me. He did however get changes to the medical insurance done something that Bill Clinton had assigned to his wife but she was never able to do. Even today as the Trumpster makes every effort to take apart Obama Care he has no idea what to replace it with. There in lies the real reason for him to be removed. He doesn’t have a clue as to what he’s doing. He only does those thing that will benefit him and not the rest of us, but of course his minions don’t believe that. He has made promises that even if he keeps them won’t bring back manufacturing jobs or the coal industry. In short he not only the most dishonest President my generation has had, he’s also more incompetent than any. Well if you really want to know how bad things are getting. I just heard that the intelligence people are saying that America is now a leading exporter of WHITE SUPREMACY RHETORIC.. that just one thing your president the Trumpster has done to make America Great Again in his own little mind. His bowing and admiring of the worlds leading despots is tell us he wants to be Emperor of the world not just the US. Some how he has convinced a segment of the country, all of whom are not radical nut jobs, that he has all the answers, is never wrong, and has the regular people in his heart. Well first we know he doesn’t have all the answers and the ones he does have only benefit him or his rich friends around the world. To have a leader that admits to admiring a man like Kim because he can get his people to sit straight up in their chairs when they are speaking should worry everybody. They aren’t sitting up in respect they are sitting up out of fear. The Trumpster wants to take this country beyond the fictional 1984 and into a world where he is Emperor. Now your saying how can I say this. Easy, he believes only he has the answers to other countries problems and that only he can solve all the worlds differences if he commands it. So far Russia is just laughing, North Korea is as well and Iran is pretty much telling us to go fuck ourselves. Wait: I just heard that Kim and North Korea want to talk again. They did this during the Korean war and while we talked they got just about everything the could want. North Viet Nam did the same thing with even better results. The Trumpster believes he’s smarter that everyone else and will be able to make a deal. He might make a deal but Korea’s will most likely cheat on it. Then sometime in the future they will just simple say fuck you. You kind of have to admire Iran,s attitude they don’t try to hide behind a lot of bullshit they simply do what they want to and say fuck you. Now the only thing I can say is unless we remove him, and there’s no guarantee we can, the world will not be a better place and America will be a lot unsafer then at any other time in its history. I guess I need to change the day of my Blog, I mean it is football season and the Holidays are coming and I have an over weight Labradoodle to play around with, so maybe Sunday is not the best day we’ll see.
Now to business, you have all seen the TV and print news so you know the Democrats are trying to impeach the Trumpster. You also know that the Trumpster and his party are screaming foul. Well I’m not screaming foul but I’m yelling about it. I think giving that for anything punitive to happen the Senate has to convict him, that this is a big waste of time. Your not going to convince his followers of anything, you’ll just make them more loyal. The Republican Senate will more than likely either just throw the case out or acquit him right away. This will empower him and dis empower the Dems to the point that it will just make everything worse. The only way to get rid of him, legally that is, is to vote him and the rest out. Now if you’ve read my blog you know I hate all politicians because I think they’re all dishonest old fucks. You don’t need some deranged orange haired mental patient to bring about change in government, unless of course your tired of Democracy. You can gain change simply by removing the old pricks that are there and replacing them with younger people. So what if they don’t have all that “experience” they’ll make mistake sure but at least they will be honest ones and not ones driven by money and greed. If all your interested in is how the economy is doing your going to wake p one morning and find out you’ve been replaced by a robot built in China and controlled by either the Russians or North Koreans. We are part of a Planet not just a country. Humans think too small, all we worry about is ourselves. The many time I’ve said here that we need everybody working together if we are to survive no one listens. After all I’m just an old man with a key board. Ok first I’m sorry I’m late bt had the gran kids yesterday and well you know how it is. Now lets get down to business, I guess your wondering what that photo p there is all about, well about 6 months ago posted this for sale on the Facebook marketplace site and got a bite. This past Sunday I had a woman interested in buying this and was in the middle of negotiations when out of the blue Facebook tells me its being taken down because it doesn’t meet some standard of theres. I’m informed that I have the right to appeal and find the page fill out the appeal and submit it I’m told it will be about 48 hours before it seen. Well in less than 3 minutes it was rejected. I began to smell a rat and as it turns out I think I’m right. It would seem that if one person complains you can have the item removed or your account can be suspended for a time. This woman whose site is a fake was telling them it was a Satanic image and was promoting Satanism. I’m not real happy with Facebook for a lot of reasons this just being one. I only remain here to stay in touch with friends and complain about shit. I looking into ways to fight this shity form of censorship and we’ll have to see what kind of trouble I can make. Well another week of impeachment talks and Trumpster Twitter fits. Will he get impeached, I say the odds are 60-40 against right now. He does however have a habit of doing to himself what the rest of us can’t so we’ll see. The Trumpster has been getting away with criminal activity forever. He lives his life like OJ. He believes he’s to rich to go to jail and now that he’s President he’s going on the Nixon principle which is, If the president does it, it’s not illegal. I understand how his supporters are still hanging on, for the Republicans that still support him it’s all about trying to prove that a Black man just couldn’t be right about anything. I hate to bring it down to that level but it is what it is. The sad thing is even if the government decides he must go, he has a backup plan. He will offer to resign in order to keep peace but he will want a deal. His deal would be he full immunity form all charges and gets to walk away free and clear. It has been said the government can’t give him immunity to state and local charges. That won’t bother him he has a habit of making thins work in his favor and evidence will disappear. No unless some act of God brings him down he’ll still be around even if it’s not as President, Ans since he says he’s the chosen one who knows what will happen. Now it’s time to get back to basics. Will the Trumpster be impeached yes or no that is the question. As it stands right now the answer is no, not because he’e not guilty but because his party won’t let it happen. I believe that if the Democrats can’t convince all there party and at least a few prominent Republicans that all they will accomplish is to cause the reelection of the fat swine. Impeachment isn’t just about the law it’s also about politics. The Democrats hate everything he does just like he hates everything Obama has done. Yes he’s a racist, yes he wants to be king or emperor, no he has no empathy for anyone. He got himself elected by saying things like lets build a wall and I’ll empty the swamp. Well no wall and the swamp is overflowing. Now my philosophy is lets get rid of the old political hacks whether they be Democrat or Republican and get some young people with fresh ideas in there. I know they will make mistakes but maybe we need to make a few and not try to be so dam perfect because thats what got us in this mess we’re in now. I for one don’t see any Presidential Candidate out there that I think is capable of uniting the country or bringing abut the changes I’m talking about. But we need someone in there that knows how to read and believes in science or by the time we get around to making changes we’ll all be extinct. Hi gang if you saw my last post you know that me long time friend and writing partner Flounder is no longer with us. I thought today I would retell his life story so her goes. In May of 2000 Flounder was born in New Jersey at a place called Brendon Byrne Arena. I’m pretty sure it’s not there any more but at the time it was home to the New Jersey Devils ice hockey team and the New Jersey Nets basketball team. The story goes he was found by Martin Brodeur the goalie for the Devils Martin was recently eleced into the Hockey Hall of Fame so he was pretty famous. He didn’t keep flounder but instead turned over to a Vet. Flounder then was adopted twice and returned twice. It seemed he was a feral cat. Feral cats are more like wild cats than the cute cuddly ones seen in pet stores. He ended up at the MT. Pleasant Animal Shelter which is a no kill facility. That meant that if no one adopted him he wouldn’t be killed. Well I saw his picture on the Internet while looking for a cat of my own. Something about him just made me like him of course I knew nothing of his history at the time. I went to the shelter and was brought into a room with 20 or 30 cats running around. I immediately spotted him on the floor playing with another cat. I went over and he let me rub his belly and I told the attendant I wanted him. I was brought into another room where I was to have a private session with him. He was an entirely different cat then, he wouldn’t let anybody pick him up he just cried and scratched the heck out of the attendants arms. When they came back they thought I would no but instead I said yes and he was put into a carrier to go home. He was not happy about this and cried and scratched at the carrier all the way. When I got home and let him out h e ran around until he found my bedroom closet where he hung out and hid for a year and a half. He would venture out at night but if you tried to pet him or pick him up you did so at your own risk. Then on day he came out and discovered the living room and its windows at first he would just sit on the window sill then I got him a window seat. He still wasn’t into being handled but at least he was out and about. He would sit in that window and make little sounds at the birds who were out at the feeder I maintained. He never once tried to get at them through the screen, he’d just sit there and they would sit there and if I didn’t know better they were having conversations. Soon came the squirrel, I named him grumpy, he would climb up on this bush outside the window and eat seeds and Flounder and him would just stare at each other for hours. If one was there and the other was not they would get upset and make noise until the other showed up. There was also a chipmunk who would sneak up and run across the screen and Flounder would jump at the screen and I would have to help him off. The chipmunk would just sit there and chatter away. Around this time I met my wife too be Ruby and Flounder decided he like people at least us. About three years latter we decided to move to Colombia so she could take care of her grandchild and I could retire. Flounder and Hari became close friends and I decided to start writing this blog. Flounder was always there and he decided to help. We originally wrote about his adventures in Colombia but as we settled down we decided to write about our opinions. Then one day Flounder started to get old he was 19 and we all kind of knew he wasn’t going to see 20, he was still helping me write the blog right up till the end. He got very sick and stopped eating I knew what had to be done I didn’t want my friend of 18 years to suffer. We took him to the vet and he weighed 4 lbs and he couldn’t walk right and the vet said there was nothing they could do. So rather than have him suffer just so I could keep him around we put him to sleep. I decided to keep the name of the blog as Flounders Great adventure or the immediate future. His Facebook page is still Flounder the cat, and if you Google Flounder the cat you will see a couple of pictures of him. I want you guys to know the two hardest thing I’ve ever had to do were to put my friend to sleep and write this piece. This is Fats saying CIAO for Flounder from Medellin Colombia.

I’m sad to say that Flounder was put to sleep early this morning. He is in a better place. The blog will continue to be called Flounders Great Adventure for the time being.Flounder was 19 1/2 years old and we had been together for 18 and a half years. Boy a lot of shit happened this week, I ‘ll try and cover everything. First up the question was raised on CNN is Venezuela going to be come another Cuban missile crisis for the US. Well if you look at this the Cubans have been trading doctors for oil, they trained the Army and you have a paranoid leader in Maduro, who believes invasion by the US or Colombia is eminent and you have the conditions for a crisis. Now you have the opposition leader being photographed with known Colombian drug dealers so WTF are we going to do. The answer is in the mind of the greedy Trumpster so anything is possible. In the US you had another debate by the Democratic candidates for President, that just proved what I’ve believed all along. That they don’t have a clear leader and are too fractured to win in 2020 this could, of course change at any minute. I believe, like many others that another 4 years of the present asshole would be disastrous for the country and the world. One of the candidates not considered a leader but trying suggested removing all assault weapons from private ownership. Well as nice an idea as that is it’s more likely to cause violence than prevent it. If you remember from my last post there are 300 million or so unregistered guns out there and this a guess in reality there are probably much more and I don’t see these people being the type to o[en their doors and say sure you want my guns here help your self. There is also the matter of Medicare for everyone. Another great idea but comes with a cost of at least one trillion dollars. Now I don’t happen to have that much spare change laying around so this is just another example of what the Democrats are saying thoughts without substance. If you are like me in your 70s and your memory is still working you will remember that health care has been an issue for a long time and the only one who was ever able to make any changes at all was Obama. The Health industry is very powerful and they don’t want any changes that would mean there people would have to start living the city and drive compacts instead of Caddy’s. Now lets move on to the next crisis. The Saudis had half there oil production destroyed by drones Saturday morning which bring up the question how the hell did this happen. I was under the impression that they had this great air defense system so WTF. You know of course that no matter what the damage oil prices are going to go up just as production shifts from gasoline to heating oil. Well if you at this week you’ll see that once again it looks like the little guy is going to take the brunt of these shit storms once again.
