Good morning from Colombia it’s a hot one today looks like it might rain. Jeff got up early and walked down to Hari’s house he got back a little while ago huffing and puffing like he always does, he needs to get out more. He was given the job of finishing the tunnel and the trains today or else Hari will never talk to him again. As you can see from the photos I’m doing my bit to make life difficult for him and I’m having a ball doing it too. The champions league starts up again today Jeff better not watch too much he has a lot to do and you don’t want to be around Hari when he’s upset. The weekend is setting up too be a Chili party on Sunday and they will be drawing names for the secret Santa as well. They better put my name in this year or I’ll pull the tree down on Christmas Eve, Hari is not the only one who gets a attitude when he doesn’t get what he wants. Well I guess I better go and see if Jeff has started yet I wouldn’t want to have things to easy today CIAO.

Good morning it’s Monday and the sun is shining for a change, it’ll probably rain later but foe now it’s pretty nice Jeff is getting started on the trains around the Christmas tree we’ll have some pictures later today. Ruby finished the lights on tha balcony we can’t do too much out there because of the wind which at certain times of the day is very strong. I told you I was watching the game last night but I fell asleep the score was 59 to 17 I think reticules at the pro level ( Oh New England Won). Thanksgiving is this Thursday I’ll post my Thanksgiving message the day before. Well I got up too early this morning I’m going to have breakfast see if I can annoy Jeff while he’s trying to set up the rains so CIAO for now.

OK I’m a little late today Jeff and Ruby went to Bello to see Breaking Dawn 11 got there at 12 o’clock and the were sold out until the 9:30 show and that would have got out to late sense they would have to catch a cab. So it looks like they’ll try again during the week more alone time for me, I love it. the Christmas tree is up and decorated the under the tree stuff will begin tomorrow and I’ll get my usual lecture about not going under the tree, it hasn’t stopped me yet. I also put up some more pics some showing a retreating rains storm. I’m going to cut this short I’m watching the Indianapolis Colts vs t New England Patriots game maybe I’ll be back after the game CIAO.

It’s me again it isn’t safe in the living room Ruby is putting the lights on the tree and you just don’t want to be around. It just started to rain really heavy and sense we have to close all the windows when that happens and it starts to get warm in the house all of that just adds to the danger of being around  Ruby right now so here I  am hiding out by the computer writing stupid stuff. Did you guys get to see the Rainbow photos pretty cool huh I don’t think there will be any Rainbows today, it’s coming down so hard you can’t see out the windows. Check the hard working Ruby but don’t let her know I said that. I’m heading for the safety of the closet for awhile talk later CIAO.

THE GOLD SHOULD HAVE BEEN RIGHT THERE BUT IT WASN’T

Well the Christmas season is starting in our house the tree came out of the closet and got set up they will be decorating it this weekend. They had to leave the bottom row of branches off so it would fit in the room. This apartment is a little smaller than the last one but the view is great. Yesterday there was a Rainbow and it ended in the stream across the street from the house. The difference with Rainbows down here is a lot of the time they appear at the beginning of a storm rather than at the end makes it a little confusing. Oh ! just so you know we didn’t find a pot of gold if we did I wouldn’t be writing this blog right now I’d still be drunk from the party. Jeff and Ruby want to see Breaking Dawn part 2 tomorrow so I’ll have the house to myself for a good part of the day. We’ll start putting pictures of the tree up tomorrow or later today so you can follow its progress be sure to check out the picture of the Rainbow above and I’ll talk to you guys later CIAO.

Well hello nice to see you again its Friday and it’s less than one week to Thanksgiving. They don’t celebrate the Holiday down here, not because they don’t have a lot to be thankful for but Thanksgiving is really just an American Holiday and tradition. So if any of you that actually read this have something to be thankful about drop me and Jeff a note in the comment section of the blog it would be cool to hear from you. What else is going on up there anything it’s different down here this year I last year Jeff and Ruby did a lot of tourist stuff and went around and met everyone in the family, now it’s hard to find something new to do? It’s also a matter of money sense they can’t walk to the store all the time now that have to take public transportation and even though its cheap after awhile the cost runs up. Hey while we’re talking Holidays all the towns have their Christmas decorations up and Ruby is after Jeff to get the tree out. Christmas is a month and a half or more celebration the fireworks have already started. I think they’ll turn the river lights on the end of November to coincide with the Madonna concert in Medellin it would only be a week earlier than normal, the official start of the party season is Dec 7 I believe. That being said I should start getting some rest now so I can PARTY later this month CIAO.

Well it looked like a lot of people went to the game last night which ended in a tie. I actually think Colombia had the better team and that surprises me maybe I just didn’t realize that Brazil wasn’t that good or that Colombia was that good. You know when you watch Colombian TV it’s not like watching American TV they don’t adhere to strict time constraints, only when the news starts do they seem concerned with time. The news might say from 7 to 8:15, it will start at 7 but won’t necessarily finish at 8:15 could be before or after. They also love to bunch a lot of commercials together it’s nothing to be watching the news and then have 20 min of ads and public service announcements thrown at you. When you invite people to lunch down here you have to forget you’re an American and to expect anybody to show up before 2PM and lunch will be served around 3PM or later and it will be so big you can forget about wanting dinner. As you can see time means something different down here from the little travel experience I have it appears that only American are concerned with being on time or getting there a little early. I think that’s why Latin American countries are always considered to be happier than America is. Now don’t get me wrong Americans love their stuff it’s just that I think they try to hard to get it and become depressed when they don’t, but what do I know I’m just a cat living in Colombia CIAO.

Wednesday morning and all is well boy I got Jeff all excited yesterday by not eating a lot. When I do that he thinks I’m sick and gets all nervous he doesn’t seem to realize cats eat when we want to and we eat as little or as much as we want to. That’s the difference between dogs and us. Dogs like regular meal times and get upset if they’re not fed on time with cats you but out a bowl of dry food and when we get around to it we’ll eat we like our life to be unstructured. That gives us more of an opportunity to annoy our care givers it’s really just a cat thing. Tonight is Colombia vs Brazilin soccer the game is being played in New Jersey so all my readers up there if you want can go to the game and root for Colombia. If I get a chance after the game I’ll do a post I know I’ve missed a few and I have some catching up to do but sense I decide to keep Jeff’s rants to a minimum I have to wait for something to happen that I think you might be interested in hearing about. So for now I’ll take my leave to grab a bite and take a nap CIAO.

GO AHEAD TRY TO TAKE MY FOOD

Tuesday in Colombia not much happening Jeff is building a chess board to display an Ivory Chess set his brother gave to him about 5 years ago, man does this guy own anything that’s not old. So that’s the most exciting thing going on today Oh I forgot Jeff gets his shoulder x-rayed today nothing big just another part of him that’s old and falling apart. Tomorrow Colombia plays Brazil in a world cup qualifier that should be a good game I don’t know if Colombia has reached the level of Brazil yet but they are close. Colombia has a genuine superstar in Falcao so it should at least be competitive. Well I have to cut this one short because Hari is on the way I’ll be back after Jeff gets back later CIOA.

IS IT TIME FOR MY PHOTO SHOOT

Well I skipped a couple of days now I’ll have to scramble if I want to get back on schedule for 365 in 365 this time around. Anyhow hers some trivia I went and did some research to see if in fact there had been cats in the oval office and guess what there were a lot going all the way back to Lincoln. Rutherford b Hayes had three cats (Picculimani, Siam, and Miss Pussy), Teddy Roosevelt had two (Tom Quartz and Slippers), Woodrow Wilson one (Puffins), Calvin Coolidge one (Tiger), Gerald Ford had one (Shan), Jimmy Carter had one (Misty Malarky Ying Ying), Bill Clinton had one (Socks), George W Bush had one (India “Willie”). They say the reason no one knew about all these cats was because we prefer to work in the background rather than in the spotlight like dogs only socks seems to have liked the spotlight and that seems to be because he hated Clintons’ dog. They gave Socks up for adoption after they left the White House, sounds typical we always get left behind. Well I’m not getting left behind my friend Jeff wouldn’t let that happen to me. Jeff has given me his endorsement for President saying I could do any worse than the bunch of dorks we’ve had recently. In the months ahead I’ll be giving my commentary on the Congress, Senate, and President just so you can make a knowledgeable decision in 2016, but right now I’m going to take nap CIAO.
