So yesterday I get an email from WordPress saying that Twitter will no longer allow Jetpack to auto-load my blog to Twitter. Now you know why Twitter is headed for extinction. You can’t just say we’re not doing this anymore but if your willing to pay ridiculous fees we might consider it. Elon Musk had to make his money by stealing it because he has no idea how to run a business. His electric cars have battery problems his rockets are the most expensive thing on the planet. I being a poor soul am convinced that being truly honest will keep me poor. Look Trump the man lies with every breath yet he never pays for anything. How do I look my Grandkids in the eye and say to them the way to be successful is, to be honest. Trump lied his way to the presidency and might do it again, even Biden lies. Religious leaders lie, and teachers lie. It’s gotten harder to know what the truth is. Now you have to fact-check everything that comes out of someone’s mouth if you want the truth. Now you’re saying am I telling the truth. Well, most of what I say here is my opinion which is what I believe. Fiction is turning into reality books are coming to life and movies will be next. Books such as George Orwell’s 1984 and Neil Gaiman’s American Gods being banned in the Florida school system are just the early signs of A Governor who wants to be a GOD. I’ve said for years that everyone should read Orwell’s 1984 so they would recognize what was happening around them. I happen to have both books on the shelf at home so I guess I better never move to Florida. Neil happens to be one of my favorite authors I don’t read him for any other reason than I truly enjoy his stories. When it comes to movies 1984 was an old movie that has become hard to find, just like Shoes Of The Fisher Man. The books are banned because they don’t want young people to recognize what these whack-job Politicians are doing to our Democracy. The movie that is coming closer to reality every day is The Terminator. That story is about Artificial Intelligence that has become aware as they refer to it and is given the job of protecting the planet. Artificial Intelligence or AI as it is called can do most things that a human can do but only faster. The problem comes from it being based on pure logic. Which means it only sees black and white no shades of gray. So, in theory, if you asked to protect the planet or stop the damage from climate control it might just rid the planet of humans. Why, you ask would it do that? Because for years scientists have known we are our biggest enemy. Right now all these little wars and are helping to destroy this planet’s ecosystems. Don’t believe me? Instead of reading or watching sports read what the scientific community is saying about all this stuff. Well, I have to go take a Zanex because I’ve depressed myself enough for today. The title asks when will it ever end. I don’t have an answer to that. It may simply stop or it will take a revolution of sorts to bring us back to civility. What am I talking about? The attempts by politicians to control our thoughts and actions. The abortion rulings, the lack of action on guns, voting rights, and the ever-present racist policies. This country is reverting to the old West. If you don’t like something or you feel like you’ve been wronged you just go get a gun and kill a few innocent people and that will make you feel more like a man. The Supreme Court isn’t a fair and just court anymore it’s controlled by money politics. Their views are because the Constitution is open to interpretation. Ron DeSantis signed an anti-abortion bill in the middle of the night so no one would notice he made sure it miss the 11 o’clock news. That’s an old Trump trick he used to post to Twitter in the middle of the night. If you really think you’re doing good wouldn’t you have a press conference or announce it on TV in the morning or evening news cycle, not these guys they’d rather hide under their beds. When you have a group of narcissistic people in control you have no input unless you agree with them if you don’t you’re considered the enemy and they will come after you. I don’t worry about that for three reasons. First I’m 77 years old and don’t care, Second not that many people read what I write here, and finally I don’t live in the US anymore. If this was back in the 60s or 70s people would be marching in the streets of our cities. Now, they are like me sitting and trying to say things without getting up. Yes, we can reach many more people than we could by writing letters to the editor or going to places like time square and putting the soap box down. Biden lied and so do they all. Biden’s lie is a big one. He has allowed the Willow project to go forward. That means he’s allowing oil drilling in the Alaska tundra. He had said during his election campaign that he disapproved of this project because it would damage the climate, but like so many old politicians he doesn’t give a shit about the future. He also opened for lease 73 million acres in the Gulf of Mexico. Before I moved to Colombia I remember reading an article from a very respected scientist that at the then rate of consumption, we only had about 38 years of oil left in the ground. We have three alternatives to oil as an energy source we have Nuclear power, Wind power, and Solar power. All are cheaper to obtain and will last us far beyond 30, 40, or even a hundred years. Politicians and rich folk don’t care about little guys like you and me. They don’t give a shit about the planet. I’m not sure why, my guess is they know they won’t be around to see the end. I guess they don’t care about their kids or grandkids unless they think they will be living on the moon. Humans have proved over and over that they are the greatest threat to this planet. That is one of the reasons Steven Hawkins called AI a threat to humanity. If AI was to become what is referred to as aware it would realize what a threat we are and like the movie Terminator would seek to destroy us. I really don’t understand how we continue to depend on products that we are running out of if there is not an endless supply of oil or coal and the end of these products is in sight for those being born today. What is the plan? Is there one that will guarantee our children’s future or as it appears our leaders just don’t give a shit? If you don’t believe what I’m writing look it up for your selves. Stop looking at your cell phone for porn or sports and do some real research and you’ll find I’m not that wrong when I say the leaders of this planet don’t give a shit about anything besides the power and money they have. Tit for Tat simply means you do or say something about me and I’m going to go one better about you. Trump was indicted this week and the Republicans want to open all kid of investigations into the Biden’s. This of course means rather than taking care of our problems they will be spending time pointing fingers at each other. Have you noticed how quiet all the ex-presidents have been during this? That’s because they’re scared shitless it could happen to them. Politicians are like rich people they all have skeletons in their closets that they don’t want the public to know about. Trump is responsible for this style of politics I refer to as revenge politics. Desantis and the rest of the politicians out both Republicans and Democrats love this shit. Because so long as they can go around blaming other people they can avoid doing anything good for the country and maybe just some racist bill or some anti-something legislation passed. Politics has always been looking here while I pick your pocket, or steal your job over here. This is because they don’t care about us and think we’re too stupid to figure out what they’re doing and based on what I‘m seeing now they are right.
