The Republican party didn’t just wake up one day and decide it was the party of WHITE SUPREMACISTS and SUPPRESSORS of WOMEN’S RIGHTS. This has been going on forever. Donald Trump allowed them to come out of the shadows and show their true colors. He gave them a voice and in doing so might have doomed democracy. They have put light on our deficiency in education and humanity. We can’t blame Trump for all of it he didn’t understand or care what was happening since he only cares about himself. Our young people have no one to look up to except fictional characters, for whatever reason they choose the violent ones. We let the TV News show riots and criminals being set free but ban cartoons like Road Runner and the Coyote and movies like Bambi as being too violent for children. When I say like these and kids should be allowed to see them I’m called a Liberal asshole. Kids and young adults aren’t given enough examples to help them make their own decisions. Instead, we hammer at them what we think is right and wrong. Then depending on where they live and how much time the parents actually spend listening to them and that’s important listening to them. Maybe they get it right. That rarely happens today because parents are too busy blaming everybody else for their lot in life. They don’t see that their kids need help and I don’t mean shrinks or punishment they need a constructive conversation with the people they love and respect.
