Ok even if you like some of trumps positions you have to be worried about what comes out of his mouth. I know a lot of people say he just saying thing to draw attention away from Hillary. But folks if was to say some of this stuff in the General assembly of the UN or a meeting of heads of state we could be in for a long, long headache. Now most of you know I’m running for President and one of the things I want to change is how the President gets elected. I want to do away with the Electoral College and have everybody’s vote count. I want the candidates to have to worry about Rhode Island and Wyoming not just those states that have a lot of Electoral votes. Wouldn’t you like to have your vote count in a national election just as much as it does when you vote for city council? People say well we do that for congress and look what we get. That’s very true but maybe we should pay a little more attention to whom is running for office and a little less about what party they’re from. I know it’s going to take more than this to clean up politics but it could be a good place to start. I also think all candidates should be given the same amount of money to campaign with instead of having all those big corporations funding there campaign. Maybe then that line from that old Jay and the Americans song “Only in America can a poor boy go to bed and wake up and become President” will be true and this will once again become the land of opportunity.
