We went food shopping today and I think I told you this before Milk and eggs are not refrigerated down here they’re on the shelf , the eggs in cardboard trays the milk in plastic bags, and you can all kinds of different eggs not just white chicken ones. You have a much greater selection of brands and fat content with the milk and when you buy vegetables the big stores such as Exito may not have the best we found a little place not far from the house where the quality is very good and the prices are lower. Besides that the Exito mall is trying to go upscale so they can charge more, if you don’t mind walking you can find anything you need in Bello at a much better price. It’s different than in the US you can shop around for just about anything until you find the quality and price, in the US food is pretty much the same price no matter where you go here you can go to a group of stores that just sell fresh cereal or sandals or anything else you want it reminds me of the US when I was a kid and there wasn’t a mall on every corner. Well I writing this post on Thursday night because TV sucks and Ruby watching some soap in the bed room.
