What a hell of a week I had. Started out planning Thanksgiving dinner. Then Monday afternoon I got a call that my surgery has been scheduled for Tuesday at 2:30 pm. OK, now we are still planning for Thursday’s dinner. I go to have the surgery and I find out they’re going to do the removal of the malignancy followed by the plastic surgery on my ear. That meant over 4 hours on the table, there was a break between surgeries. When we got home I realized I was going to be in no mood to cook dinner on Thursday so we postponed it until Sunday. Now, I’m all set. They said they got all the cancer so I should be alright. The rest of the world I’m not too sure about. Trump is up to his old tricks threatening to dismantle democracy starting on the first day if he is elected. I still find it hard to believe that people would rather have a dictatorship rather than a democracy. Is it because they don’t think he really will turn this country into one. People he means it, he won’t just turn this country upside down he’ll sell us out to our enemies. If you don’t believe this or it’s something you want then good luck. I’m 77 years old which means I don’t have a lot of time left on this planet so I won’t have to feel the effect of his actions. If I was in my 20’s and this was taking place I would be planning on fighting a civil war and I would want him gone permanently as in hanged for treason. I think he has already done enough to be charged with treason but for reasons unknown to me people are afraid of this fat coward. He has lied about how much money he and his family have they are not smart they are bullies and if you stand up to a bully they will run away. No, my Holiday wish is not for Trump to choke on a Big Mac, although that isn’t such a bad idea. No, my wish is for one sane politician to emerge and I don’t care from which party they come from or what race or sex either. Now, I know that’s a big wish but, I think it may be our only shot of survival. Sounds pretty pessimistic doesn’t. Well, when you look around and see people saying and doing crazy shit and we elected them then don’t think it’s pessimistic I think it’s the unfortunate reality of our times. Somewhere along the way to this time, we must have passed through a wormhole that took us back in time before the Civil War. That’s the only way I can explain the dumb ass shit that our leaders are saying and doing. The Democrats keep saying Biden is the best we got and the Republicans keep saying Trump is the best they got. If this is true then you can understand my Holiday wish. There has to be a lot we don’t know if these two are our best choices. I’m not one of those people that says anyone but Trump. I don’t want Trump in any form but what I really want before I die is a truly good man in the office of President. He has to be honest, smart, strong, and have people respect him not fear him. The only people that should fear him are our enemies. People should have to worry if he will say or do something that will be catastrophic to us and the world. A long time ago my Mom said to me we can’t survive if everybody doesn’t understand that we need each other. She said this in a time of racial unrest but, I think it’s for right now as well. Is there a true leader out there or are we just rehashing all the old crap. I think we’re rehashing the old crap and that is very dangerous for the country. Let’s take a peek at what’s out there. First up is Joe Biden the incumbent. Nice guy a good man but a little too old for what we need right now. Then there is Donald Trump. Also old but also exhibits other mental health problems a dangerous man to put in control of nukes. If something happens to Biden we get Harris we don’t know what we will get if something happens to Trump. I don’t believe either situation would be good for the country. There aren’t really any choices on the Dem’s side and the Republicans have DeSantis and Christie and a bunch of others who want to move away from Democracy. There is another one who happens to be a Kennedy but I think all he can accomplish is to give the election to Trump. He doesn’t follow the Kennedy mantra of “Ask not what your country can do for you but what you can do for your country”. He seems to be more of you owe me type. Now in most elections lately you are asked to choose between the lesser of two evils. That’s right most people thought Trump was the lesser of two evils when he ran against Hillary. He may have been but it was a close call. I would like to see in the next couple of months someone come forward that would give us a real choice and help get this country and the world back on track. I did one of my rambling videos on YouTube yesterday so I thought I’d just keep rambling here. When you start talking about greed you tend to associate it with the rich or politicians. That’s not true greed exists in all walks of life and in all species on the planet. True it’s most noticeable in humans. We use it to get things we want or in some cases to simply survive. Have you ever seen homeless people fight over living space or food it happens all the time have you ever been in a Walmart on Black Friday? It is not a pretty seen it has been described as humans at their worst. Politicians use greed in their lies to motivate people to vote for them. I’ve seen greed my whole life. I learned how people lie later in life like everybody else. I was chosen to run for democratic county committee right after the Kennedy assassination. There was a big move to get youth involved in politics. The first thing I learned was they followed the old rule that young people should be seen but not heard. But I also listened and watched and saw “Best Friends” throw each other under the bus with lies. After a couple of years of this, I left the party and didn’t vote again for 22 years. Nothing had changed but I wanted to show my disdain for lying scumbags. I did manage to find a couple of pretty honest politicians along the way they gave me hope, then of course along came Trump and destroyed that. Trump is a prime example of a greedy lying scumbag. It makes it hard to talk to young people to work for the future when all they see is despair. Well, it is football Sunday I need a break from all the Bullshit so I’ll just say this has been LUCY and FATS saying CIAO from Medellin Colombia.
