I tend to have some far-out theories at times and this might be one. What if the Wagner-Putin riff is nothing more than a well-orchestrated diversion to get the Ukrainians to commit their troops to their offensive before they really wanted to. It could have been a play for the Wagner group to get more money and arms, after all, they are mercenaries aren’t they? I still haven’t figured out what Putin wants the Ukraine for. I guess they must have pissed him off or he was having trouble with his military and thought they could get a quick win. It’s hard now to know what’s actually going on over there with all the fake news being generated by AI. I know a couple of people from over there who live in Colombia now and just laugh about the whole thing. American diplomats seem to think Putin is in trouble. Not to worry the Republicans will probably offer him political asylum and put him up in one of Trump’s properties and then get him his own show on FOX. My biggest worry at the moment besides Global warming is that some ass hole either outside the US or within the US will gain control of Nuclear weapons and blow the whole place they fuck up before we destroy ourselves.
