Ok its still Saturday so let’s see what else happened yesterday and this morning. First I got a new litter box and different style litter Ruby gets pissed when the litter lands all over the floor so this litter box is supposed to help prevent that, yeah right, the litter is a little finer and much cheaper which was probably the reason I ended up with it. I do have to say that Jeff and Ruby do try to good care of me and even Hari brushes me when he comes over so al and all life pretty good. Ruby gas been running around cleaning all morning so I suppose she’ll play the I’m tired card if we want to anything today. I did tell you that Monday is a holiday the news was making a big thing about it because it’s the first holiday of June there’s another one next week. They’ll average about one holiday every seventeen days from now until Christmas. Schools still in session right up until November I think. Ruby just announced its lunch time so if I want to eat I have to go now or wait until dinner so for the second time today Ciao.

So I forgot about a Friday post sue me I was busy first Hari was here early then Jeff decided to work on his book, which he says is almost done (I’ll believe it when I see it) so by the time I got some computer time it was too late to post and nothing really going on anyhow. Juan Pablo is spending the week end with us but he has to study (HA, HA) he looks good with his glasses on there’s soccer today as the European league gets going and tomorrow Colombia plays Ecuador don’t know how that games going to work out. John and Vanessa went to the Spa they came over during breakfast to ask Jeff to print something for them, and since it was Vanessa that asked and not John, he did it right away. There’s a possibility of them going to the cable car tomorrow we’ll have to wait and see. I’m going to take a short break and will be back in a little while CIAO

I had a visitor early today Jeff got some good pictures it looks like a Katydid from back home it’s the size of canary and is probably gentler. Jeff picked him up and let him fly away he’s sitting on the wall across the court yard now. Those of you that have already read the previous post will notice it’s dated today but it was posted last night I don’t know where word press originates from but there is a big difference in time. Right now it’s 8:25 Am down here and that would make it about 9:25 on the east coast .Hari is awake you can hear him across the way making all kinds of noise which means he’s happy and most likely on his way to see me. They’re going to turn off the water at 9AM so Jeff has to go and take a shower now (believe me that’s a good idea) so I’ll be leaving if anything else exciting happens I’ll be back later CIAO.

Ok I just read on Yahoo that this fashion designer Karl Lagerfield has a Siamese kitten named Chaupette that has two maids and is going to publish his diary. What the hell just because he’s got money the cat gets to publish a dairy, I’ve been doing this crap for almost a year does anybody care about me no I’m stuck with an old, bald, fat, and poor retired Gringo living in Colombia South America. This is just not right how do I get out of the chicken outfit and hook up with some dude that’s got cash, the maybe somebody will recognize my writing skills and I can be famous instead of infamous and besides that cat may have two maids but I have Hari and he’s worth much more. Well it’s 9pm down here so I’m heading out watch my TV programs Ciao

Guess what I took yesterday off did anybody notice? Jeff took some pictures of my friend Hari and me, I wish he wouldn’t do that I like my privacy. Jeff and Ruby ended up going to Medellin yesterday instead of Monday but they found out what they needed to know about the banking change. Did you read the news about the Miss USA Pageant the girl who was Miss Pennsylvania quit claiming that the contest was rigged, big surprise there old Donald got caught and now it’s Trump spin time. The recall election in Wisconsin didn’t turn out the way Labor wanted now they say half the sate hates the other half, that’s about right everywhere. Anybody get to see Venus cross the sun I guess it was special since it won’t happen again for a long time but I wonder how special is to a native setting in Somalia with no food and no telescope to see, do you think they really care? People are always making rather insignificant things seem important in order to hide the things they rather not think about like poverty, corruption, disease and genocide. Now how many stopped reading when they got to this part? Ok don’t get worried I’m not going to start preaching I just thought I’d sneak it in and see if I could get a few people thinking. Well it’s Hump halfway to the weekend anybody got any special plans they want to share HEY IS ANYBODY OUT THERE? Ok I know I’m feeling a little sorry for myself I’m going to go take a nap and chill CIAO.

Welcome to a cloudy Monday I can’t talk too much right now Jeff has to get ready to go to Medellin and do his monthly banking. First El Jefe Ruby’s father stopped by for a surprise visit which was very nice he’s one of the favorites, after he left Ruby tried to take a nap she was really tired from the concert Saturday night. There was Soccer the Colombian national team played Peru in Lima it was a very good game and Colombia won 1-0 they were really throwing themselves around on defense, something you don’t see in the leagues in the country. I guess when you play for your country there’s more pride and less money involved ,anyway congratulations to them and keep it up they play Ecuador next. Well Jeff is telling me he has to go take a shower and get ready to go so maybe I’ll be back later maybe not Ciao.

Sunday it’s 10:30 in the morning and I just got up Ruby didn’t get home to around 1:30 so we didn’t get to bed until around 2Am so we slept late and oh I’ll be right back it’s time for breakfast. Ok now its 11:15 breakfast is over with, since Ruby didn’t sleep well last night I think today is going to be a chill day (this week everyday has been a child day for me) which she can really use. Tomorrow they have to go to Medellin to do some banking. Their bank HSBC Colombia was sold recently to a local company along with a lot of other Latin America branches so now they have to make sure they can get their money out without having to pay a lot of fees. I think only one US bank remains in Colombia and that’s Citi and they seem to only conduct business banking. if Colombia wants Americans to come to visit or live their going to have to attract American banks or stop charging the large fees that they do for all transactions. I guess they’ll find everything out tomorrow morning. It’s a beautiful day down here today Sunday has a way of usually being a nice day which is cool because the most people have Sunday off. The usual work week down here is six days unless you work for one of the larger companies down here, but then people usually work part time too life is not easy in Colombia but for all the countries in the Americas the people here are the most content and hopeful. That’s what makes this place despite some shortcomings a great place to live but to nice to work, well time to chill later Ciao.

Its Saturday we played UNO last night and John won the most games (I think he cheats) but it’s about time he won something his soccer team sure isn’t wining anything. Its Nachos Birthday he’s 64 old enough to collect social security almost old enough for adult diapers (can’t wait for that).Well that’s all I got I’m going back to bed Ciao.

Hey everyone it’s Friday and the weekend is here tonight is going to be an Uno night I know John and Vanessa and Hari are coming I don’t know about anybody else we’ll just have to wait and see. It’s overcast and they say it might rain today, big surprise, we did have two days in arrow without rain so can’ complain I just hope it doesn’t rain over the weekend. Everybody went to nachos restaurant to celebrate Hader and Nelida’s birthdays all had a great time and as usual when you but Hader and John together there’s a lot of laughing. Tomorrow is the night that Ruby and Jeff think they might get to see themselves on TV, I hope so I can use a good laugh. That’s it from Colombia for now talk to you tomorrow Ciao.
