Hump day

March 14, 2012

OK so now everybody thinks I’m crazy well maybe I am anyhow I was looking over Jeff’s shoulder the last couple of day and I was reading the financial news and it became apparent to me that they really don’t have a clue what they’re talking about. It’s sort of like looking at the medical news and how one week this is good for you and the next it isn’t it’s just who’s paying for the statistical study well in the financial world it’s what they want you to believe and I don’t believe it stops there. For instance how can you trust the news on TV when the various news stations are fighting for sponsors and do you think that Murdock was only corrupt in the UK? It’s unfortunate when you look around how much of what we think is fact is influenced by MONEY. I’ve read enough articles from various sources to know that the financial crisis shouldn’t have happened but there are a group of people out there that think the world is stupid, and you know what they are right. We let a few people tell us what to think and we got screwed because we trusted them. Read the political commentary pages of the internet or your newspaper then remember what you read and look in another source or wait a few weeks or months and you’ll see different a different slant. What changed? Absolutely nothing someone just decided that it was more profitable for them at that moment if we were told to believe something else or in the case of food such as eggs or wine the industry came up with more money to alter the study which had had a negative view. This phenomenon is not unique to America this kind of thing is done all over the world. I think the best investment anyone can make is in themselves that way there are less people to blame and actually unless you’re really dumb a better chance of success. That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t do research or listen to people but don’t take everything as an absolute. I know I’ve sort of wondered during this post but that’s the way we cats think I hope it makes some sense to people and gives them some help in deciphering what the so called 1% wants the rest of us to believe. Anyway that’s it for me today Ciao.
