I would have waited to later but I just heard this story about this Chinese billionaire who died from poison. Tragic as that sounds the poison was determined to be bad cat meat CAT MEAT are you out of your @#%$#@$& mind . Cats aren’t food we’re cute, furry, friendly, Lovable and I can go on and on but we are not food. I usually don’t get involved with political stuff, just feed me, keep my water fresh, and change my litter box and I don’t care what goes on in the rest of the world. But start serving my friends for dinner and now you’ve got a pissed off cat, I’ve decided to start a formal protest group CATS AGAINST CHINESE FOOD. I want everybody to stop eating in Chinese restaurants; you could be eating a relative of mine. I urge all animal rights groups (except dogs of course) to get there people out on the streets to spread the news about this CATS AIN’T FOOD say it loud say it proud I have a dream that one day cats will rule the world ,then the dogs really better watch out. Remember FLOUNDER SAY CATS AIN’T FOOD. Ciao

PLEASE DON'T EAT ME

Football Sunday is here! Last night Jeff and Ruby Took Hader and Juan Pablo El Forno for dinner Jeff said it was best ever down here. The waiter even brought their wine to the table and did a very correct wine service, something that surprised Jeff sense they hadn’t seen anything like that sense they had been in Colombia. All and all the evening was very pleasant end to a exciting day (I hope) for Hader sense it included his graduation. Jeff and Ruby are getting ready to go food shopping; I hope they remember my cat litter, to get ready for football American style later today. Jeff invited Hader and John but they may have other things to do. Jeff will be rooting for the Giants in the second game, the winners of these games today will play in the Super Bowl in two weeks that will be the end of the American football season and Jeff can turn his attention to Colombian football. Johns team National is supposed to much improved this while Medellin Hader’s team appears at least so far to be treading water in the personal department well time will tell. Ruby is ready to go shopping so Jeff has to get his act in gear and I’m off to lie in the sun for awhile Ciao.

Today was Hader’s graduation from the university not for his degree he already has that but his is called something like specialization down here next will be his masters. It was small but everybody was there, his best friend Christian graduated too, his father Louis, his mother Ruby, His aunt Margareta, his son Juan Pablo and of course Jeff. This degree or certificate will help in his work, as in getting promotions etc. Right now he’s not working because his contract has not been renewed yet, hopefully that will happen this week and everything will be cool. The day turned out to very nice, a little on the warm side but not too bad. Now it looks like rain and they’re supposed to take Hader and Juan Pablo out to eat Italian tonight. Tomorrow is another football Sunday, I’ll have all day to lay around with nobody bothering me, don’t you just love it. It’s really starting to get dark now I think it’s a good time to find a nice place to curl up and ride out the weather talk to you after the game tomorrow Ciao.

Thank god it’s Friday and the sun is shining the weekend is ahead. Saturday is Jeff’s oldest friends, Mike Fielos, Birthday They really haven’t talked in quite a few years and that’s meatheads (Jeff) fault, they used to talk all the time and Jeff feels he really helped him get his life straightened out, now he wonders how they managed to live this long after all those nights in the Rusty Scupper or back in the day as they say. They were both known to have a cocktail or two in the evening well maybe more than one or two for Jeff, anyhow HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MIKE from me FLOUNDER THE CAT. Now that’s taken care of let’s move on to the plans for the day. Hari has already stopped by to say hello he was really wired, scared me a little but then he settled down and we had a nice chat about our plans for the day. Jeff and Ruby are going shopping later and Hari plans on giving his dad a hard time when he gets home, John can’t handle that when he first gets home and Hari knows it, now as for me I need all the rest I can get since I woke up much to early this morning on account of some meeting going on in the hallway downstairs. There was one woman who just wouldn’t stop talking and she was loud so if I plan to give Jeff trouble tonight I need to get some rest when they go shopping. Some guy just came to check on our electricity I guess they were trying to figure out how to charge Ruby and Jeff more money. Doesn’t it seem that every time you start to save a little money something or someone comes along to take it? Well as said I’ve been up far too long so before comes back this afternoon I’m going to take a nap so Ciao for now

It looks like the rainy season has returned although the days are nice it starts raining and thundering around 3:30 in the afternoon and continues most of the night. We ended watching the soccer game yesterday on the computer because once again they tried to keep a important game of regular TV. Jeff found it on ESPN3 and hooked the laptop up to the big screen TV and we watched that way. It seems people down here eat at different times then Jeff is used to not that it makes too much difference to him unless he gets up real early and there are no snacks for lunch then he wants to eat early . Jeff says he ran out of pictures to post so he says they have to go somewhere this weekend to take some more. That means they probably will just be scenery I hope I get and some with Hari other family members that’s always fun for me. I see a lot of Hari now that Ruby’s babysitting we have some great conversations he’s really cool not that Juan Pablo isn’t fun he’s fun in a different way. Jeff say’s he remembers being ten and it wasn’t a lot of fun. I think tomorrow they’re going to Olga’s to make some phone calls to the US Jeff has some things he needs to sort out. I’d like to take a minute to express thanks for the comments on my posts I do read all of them and reply with the e-mail word press sends me. Since some of you don’t see the reply’s I’ll have Jeff incorporate tem in our posts.  Well Ruby’s calling Jeff to dinner so I’ll be leaving now so I can disturb them while there eating Ciao.

This is just going to be a short post the boys are coming over to watch soccer Real Madrid and Barcelona should be a good game. I’m going to try to seep through it Jeff got up at 5am today so that meant I was up and now I’m sleepy and grumpy so I’ll end this post now Jeff wants to watch the game Ciao.

It’s the day after Jeff’s birthday and he asked me to say thank you to everyone for their kind wishes and especially to John, Hader, Vanessa, Hari, and Juan Pablo and of course Ruby for helping him celebrate last night. Nothing much happened they kept it pretty low key which was nice. Juan Pablo had one of the largest Ice Cream Sunday I’ve ever seen and he made short work of it Jeff’s was free Hari had a children Sunday and was hilarious to watch. Then they came home for cake, which Ruby baked herself and then soaked in chocolate syrup it was great but was a diabetics nightmare and of course Hari came over to talk to me, he always has something interesting to say. On the subject of our conversations people have asked if he speaks English or Spanish and is Jeff teaching him English? Well right now Hari speaks a little Spanish but mostly he speaks baby and of course cat. We added a couple of photos to the blog of course the good ones we didn’t have a camera for (ain’t it always the way).Jeff just told me he wants to go read now you know he has his kindle back and he’s averaging a book a day, pretty cool huh. The only problem with a book a day it can get expensive sometimes but he finds deals on the kindle. He recently downloaded the entire collection of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s of Sherlock Homes for 99 cents great deal. Ok now he’s giving me the nasty look that it is time to stop for now maybe we can get together later Ciao.

Ok I’ve been nice all day and it hasn’t been easy it’s not in my style; Ruby’s home from babysitting Hari so know I can start planning my mischief for later tonight. There won’t be a party for Jeff he doesn’t want one and I can dig that but John and Hader should be stopping by for a little cake and ice cream. Jeff listened to Martin Luther King’s  have a dream speech and for those down here who don’t know who he was or have never heard that speech check it out on the internet and you’ll see just how powerful the English language can be. I know I have a lot of Spanish speaking friends reading my blog and if they want to hear English the way it’s supposed to sound. Well HAPPY BIRTHDAY Jeff enjoy it while you can I just might scratch you while you sleep tonight or throw up in your shoes have a good one Ciao

Another football Sunday I love these because once the game comes on Jeff doesn’t move until it over three hours of uninterrupted sleep for me and to make thing even better the Giants won. John was supposed to come over last night he didn’t make it Hader was a no show the only one to show was Nelida and she didn’t stay to long she was exhausted from work so I’ve had a lot of peace and quiet this weekend. Ruby had to go to the druggist to get shots the weekend. The doctors give you the medicine and then you take to the druggist and he or she gives you the shot and he charges almost as much as the medicine costs about 50 cents. I’m going to bed now big day tomorrow it’s Jeff’s birthday and sense I’m the only one he lets make a fuss about it I have a lot of work ahead of me, being nice for a whole day is very tiring so Ciao until tomorrow.

It’s Saturday let see what happened first Jeff and Ruby walked to the Parque Norte to pay there’s and johns Telmex bill (cable, phone and internet) which only about 50 dollars .They had some frozen yogurt from Frozzy and started walking back first thing they see is three cows a big one, a medium one and a little one to but things in perspective they are walking along a main highway style road. The three cows decide to cross the road, that’s four lanes of busy roadway, and they walk across like there are no cars. You think a bus or truck would hit one of them but nope they arrive safely on the side and just keep walk down the sidewalk as if they owned it. Now a little further down the road comes this little bird (brown with a yellow breast), that is usually very shy about getting close to humans, down out of a tree walks around a man in front of them flies up to a perch even with Jeff’s head stares at him flies back down to the side walk and continues to walk just in front of them until they approach some other people. A few yards further on just past the police barracks there are a couple of horses just grazing alongside the walk .Now you might think this somewhat abnormal but I assure you this is quite common in Bello and before you ask there are no owners in sight. It would appear that both the cows and the horses know their way around town and they know the way home. I certainly know my way to my food dish and that’s where I’m heading Ciao.
