You know I mentioned that Monday was a holiday well so is next Monday Its independence day for Cartagena. They average at least one holiday a month down here, yet they still manage to get things done although according to Ruby from now until sometime in January it’s just one big holiday. They celebrate Christmas a couple of ways down here. First of course, this being a Catholic country, is a religious way with a great many church functions. Secondly It’s an excuse to drink and party every night and day. Thirdly, and I think most importantly, they celebrate it as a children’s holiday with all sorts of events going on. As I find out more from Jeff and Ruby I’ll pass it along also I hope he will remember to take his camera with him when he goes out if he does I’ll post the pictures on Facebook and my blog. Its dinner time and I have to and make a nuisance of myself until Jeff FEEDS ME.
